A Cyclone Generator[1] is an object introduced in a Wario game, Wario World, before later returning in a Mario game, Mario Superstar Baseball.

Description

Cyclone Generators are weathervane statues designed in the likeness of a bird with brown feathers and green eyes. A Cyclone Generator appears to have a featherless neck.

A Cyclone Generator has the ability to produce a sand tornado, spinning around whatever gets caught within it.

In Wario World, Cyclone Generators only appear in the level Pecan Sands. If Wario attacks a Cyclone Generator, it produces a cyclone that causes Wario to spiral upward and therefore reach higher areas that he cannot get to otherwise.

Mario Superstar Baseball

In Mario Superstar Baseball, Cyclone Generators are featured as one of the gimmicks in Wario Palace alongside Chain Chomps. If the baseball lands near a Cyclone Generator, it produces a cyclone, in which the ball spins around for a few seconds, then the cyclone disappears and flings the ball in a random direction.
