Gold Bones are a recurring item in the Luigi's Mansion series. They first appear in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, hidden in certain rooms in all of the mansions, and return in both Luigi's Mansion's Nintendo 3DS remake and Luigi's Mansion 3.
Usage
Gold Bones act like extra lives for Luigi. Whenever Luigi loses all of his HP and he has a Gold Bone on him, a Polterpup will come by and lick his face fully restoring him. It is noted that one Gold Bone is found hidden in each mission during the game. Gold Bones are usually found inside objects that Luigi can open or shake.
